Transparent steps

Sunny Flowers is the visionary tale of the encounter of the flower with the sun's rays, water and heat,

the synthesis of natural evolution and its transformations that are sublimated in photography.

"Sunny Flowers" is a four-handed work by Lia and Paolo Aldi. A photographic alchemy that uses solar irradiation in its ultraviolet component, small flowers spread out in contact with photographic films on which their sweat and their figure, the sensitivity and skill of the authors are transferred.

They are reflections on the photographic medium and its technical history. They use the ultraviolet characteristic of nineteenth-century techniques, twentieth-century film and the use of information technology of our current century.
