The Commune decides that the maximum salary of state officials is 6,000 francs per year and the accumulation of functions is prohibited.

The armed clashes begin. Attack of Versailles in Courbevoie. Supported by artillery fire, the troops of Versailles, superior in number, occupy Courbevoie and force the Federates to retreat, leaving twelve dead and wounded on the field. Among these are five that the soldiers of Versailles immediately shoot at the foot of Mont-Valérien.
