Pensions to female comrades and children of National Guard killed in combat

La Commune de Paris. Saturday, May 20. With a decree the Commune de Paris initiates the reform of the theater system to build a system a new associative and shared system.

With two other decrees, a pension of 600 francs is granted to the woman, married or not, of a murdered National Guard. Each child, whether recognized or not, is granted a pension of 312 francs until the age of 18.

The ramparts of Paris were bombarded all night. Today three hundred Versaille cannons, including naval guns, spit fire on the insurgent city and forced the defenders of Paris to abandon the fortifications.
