Reopen museums and galleries as soon as possible

La Commune de Paris. Saturday April 15, 1871. The Commune authorizes Gustave Courbet to re-establish as soon as possible the activity and the opening to the public of the museums and their Galleries.

Cultural life is not interrupted under the Commune, which also organizes concerts for the benefit of widows, orphans and the wounded. Alongside warlike and patriotic arias, popular songs are sung.
